In looking for music for this McDonalds spot, we tried lots of different approaches. The campaign required that the song have tons of specific qualities, and this was the one that fit the best (and it fit very well). At the time, this track was just a demo for what would later be included on Pájaro Sunrise’s new disc “Done/ Undone.”

The folks at McDonald’s were looking for a track to capture the happy, positive nature of this kids campaign. We proposed this upbeat song by a then unknown Ingrid Michaelson, which went down wonderfully with the creative team. The final result was a charming ad that was a complete success in Portugal.

In the Summertime (Mungo Jerry)

For this Europe-wide campaign, we were asked to find a catchy, well-known song that would be recognizable within the first few notes, and that captured the fun, laid-back vibe of the summer. We proposed “In the Summertime,” a classic hit which was to be reinvented by playing it on glasses in the spot. The final result couldn’t be more refreshing, and its success was proven by the extension to more and more territories in Europe as the season went on.

For these summer campaigns, the client wanted two original tracks heavily influenced by today’s pop music. Employing our studio musicians, we were able to come up with two pieces that could easily be the next big hit on the top 40 charts!
