Sometimes everything just works out. The creative team of Young & Rubicam wanted to use a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” a song that we at Lovemonk have always loved, in this stunning campaign. We were able to get the publishing rights and we began to produce a cover, with the Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright versions as references. We had the luxury of working with Australian singer-songwriter Aaron Thomas, who did it excellently. And all in no time!
