We received a project idea from Villar Rosas to produce an original song with Gecko Turner for the marathon, San Silvestre Vallecana. The agency pitched us an idea: “Gato no naces, gato te haces.” From there came lots of conversations and lots of ideas flying around from the creative team, which Gecko then took and transformed into notes and verses. The lyrics of the song turned it into a sort of homage to the popular race and to the street culture of Madrid. The track was recorded with the collaboration of another fellow Madrid neighbor, Sandokán “El Chacal.”
